After scouring multiple restaurants, we found one that is too good not to write about: Sauce Boss Southern Kitchen. The Most Heartwarming History
Sauce Boss Southern Kitchen was founded by Chef Julias. Starting at the age of six, Julias observed and helped his grandmother and aunts in the kitchen. His duties mainly involved cutting, peeling, and washing. As the years went by, Julias often turned to cooking to cope with harsh circumstances. Eventually, he went to culinary school and followed his heart to become a chef.
Julias originally opened Sauce Boss—a food truck offering a variety of original recipes and homemade sauces—in 2016, and it flourished! Three years later, Chef Julias opened Sauce Boss Southern Kitchen restaurant to use his passion for cooking to please others. Considering his high ratings on Google and Yelp, it’s safe to say that he continually accomplishes this goal!
The Best Food to Fuel Your Soul
There’s nothing like soulful Southern Cooking, and thanks to Sauce Boss Southern Kitchen, residents of Draper, Utah, can taste authentic Southern Cuisine every day of the week. Their menu features a wide range of appetizers, main dishes, and sides—it wouldn’t be a Southern meal without the renowned hearty Southern sides!
Choose from fried green tomatoes and okra or cornmeal breaded tomatoes for an appetizer; fried chicken, shrimp and grits, catfish, or pork chops for your main meal; and collard greens, candied yams, and spiced corn for your side.
