Independence Day Shows and Activities
This year, firework shows aren’t just on the Fourth of July—they will be happening all weekend long. On July 4, there will be Independence Day Fireworks at Veterans Memorial Park., from 10:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Parking is limited, so arrive early to secure the best spots. In addition, just north of Draper, Murray City will be celebrating its Fun Days on July 4th as well. There will be activities all day long at Murray City Park, including a 5K walk and run, a chalk art contest, a parade, games, entertainment, and, of course, fireworks. Lastly, Thanksgiving Point will be having its Independence Day Celebration starting at 4:00 p.m, which will include food, activities, and fireworks.
Fireworks on the Fourth
In the Salt Lake area, the biggest firework show on July 4, is downtown at The Gateway. Not only will there be a firework show, but there will also be bands performing, a karaoke stage, yard games, face painting, and more! Plus, there are great restaurants in the surrounding area, making it the perfect place to spend your Fourth of July evening.
